Where is the NFC reader on my phone?

For newer smartphones, you may need to tilt your phone towards the reader so the top part of the phone is facing the reader. Similar to how you would point a remote to a TV, point your phone straight at the reader. For older smartphones, the NFC sensor is generally on the back of the phone, either in the center, lower or upper portions. It may take a bit of experimenting to see which angle works best for your phone.

If you use your phone for payments, the same angle you use to pay should work for reading the NFC tag.

What happens if my phone is stolen and my RIMOWA Ownership Certificate is registered in it?

Please contact the RIMOWA customer service in the event of a lost or stolen phone. We will assist you in the process of reclaiming your RIMOWA Ownership Certificate.

Can I charge my iPhone wireless while using the RIMOWA aluminum iPhone case?

No, unfortunately our aluminum iPhone cases do not currently support wireless charging. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are pleased to inform that our Polycarbonate Cases support this function.

Can I use contactless payment while using the RIMOWA aluminum iPhone case?

Yes, contactless payment does work while using all our iPhone cases.
