Which products can I sell through the RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED program?
All authentic RIMOWA aluminium suitcases equipped with wheels can take part in the RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED program, no matter their age or condition.
Where should I bring my suitcase for the RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED program?
You can bring in your suitcase to select RIMOWA stores. You can find participating stores here.
How many suitcases can be submitted to the RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED program?
RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED is limited to 2 suitcases per person, per year.
Which suitcase documents do I need to provide in order to participate in the RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED program?
Clients participating in RIMOWA’s RE-CRAFTED program will be asked to present a valid personal identification document to complete the buy back.
A valid personal identification includes :
- a valid driver’s license
- a valid student ID card
- a valid health insurance card*
- a valid My Number Card
- a valid Japanese passport
- or any other document issued by public institutions that features the client’s name, address, and age
Please note that any form of identification must bear the client’s latest address. Paper copies are not accepted.
This buy back program is only limited to Japanese or foreign nationals who are residing in Japan.
*Health insurance cards must be accompanied with an original resident record certificate, original receipt of national tax, regional tax or utility bills (electricity/gas/water/NHK receiving fee) dated within the last six months and showing the client’s current address.

How long will my RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED voucher be valid for?
Your RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED store voucher will be valid for 3 years, from the date issued.
Where can I redeem my RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED voucher?
You can redeem your RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED voucher at select RIMOWA stores. Find participating stores here (vouchers cannot be used in department stores).
How many RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED vouchers can I redeem per purchase?
The minimum amount for a voucher to be used is ¥80,000. Only one voucher can be used per purchase.

RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED suitcases are available on RIMOWA.com per drop. You can register here to be informed of the next drop.
Is my RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED voucher transferable?
No, your RIMOWA RE-CRAFTED voucher is personalised and can be redeemed only by yourself.
