At the time, these pieces reflected an era defined by technical precision, modular thinking, and a clear relationship between form and function. Today, that spirit is reawakened through an embossed Grid pattern pressed into rigid aluminium shells - a structured, geometric expression of RIMOWA's industrial heritage. The motif is echoed in the quilted interior lining, while heritage blue leather touchpoints, signature handles, palladium locks, and airplane-debossed rivets reinforce its archival roots. Crafted in Cologne, each piece is issued as a numbered limited edition, honouring the rarity of this historic design and preserving its character for a new generation of travellers.
