I already own a Classic, can I personalise it?

If you already own a Classic suitcase, you are able to customise it using the available accessories which can be found in store and on RIMOWA.com in the accessories section.

Handles, however, cannot be purchased separately online as they require professional installation by our RIMOWA experts.

Where can I buy a RIMOWA classic suitcase and customise it?

RIMOWA UNIQUE service is available at select stores and online.

What is RIMOWA UNIQUE?

RIMOWA UNIQUE is a customisation service specially designed to add a personal touch to your RIMOWA Classic.

Which suitcase can be customised?

RIMOWA UNIQUE is dedicated to Classic suitcases and allows you to perfectly colour match all the unique elements of this timeless range, including the vintage-inspired leather handles, wheels and leather luggage tag.

Use the online configurator to custom fit your own RIMOWA Classic here or visit us in-store.

All other suitcases ranges, you can personalise them with your initials on the tag and select different wheels.

Guarantee

What is RIMOWA's guarantee policy for UNIQUE accessories?

The following applies when purchasing a RIMOWA Classic from July 25, 2022 with UNIQUE accessories (wheels, handles, address tag): the Classic suitcase itself is covered by our lifetime guarantee.

For the UNIQUE accessories, we offer a two-year manufacturer's guarantee from the date of purchase. If - after the two-year guarantee has expired - a repair or replacement of these UNIQUE parts is required under the suitcase's lifetime guarantee, they will be replaced with standard spare parts. This ensures that your suitcase remains functional, even if the customisation is not covered by the lifetime guarantee. Customise your Classic suitcase.

Accessories

Harness: On which suitcase model(s) does it fit?

This luggage harness is meant to fit the RIMOWA Original, Classic, Essential, Essential Lite and Hybrid suitcases in the following sizes only: Cabin U, Cabin S, Cabin and Cabin Plus. This harness will not fit other RIMOWA suitcase sizes and we can not guarantee that the harness will suit any cabin suitcases from other brands.

Which suitcase size best fits my needs?

Each RIMOWA has its advantages, and each client is unique.

However, we have some recommendations for you:

Short Travel (1-2 days) and prefer to carry on your luggage when flying : the Cabin S might be what you're looking for. Need a little extra space? The Cabin or Cabin Plus are perfect carry-on sizes with a bit of extra space. Use our airline compatibility chart located on each product page to check if your desired Cabin case is compatible with your airline of preference.
Longer Trips : Check-In models. Check-In M and Check-In L are the perfect sizes for extended journeys.

Planning an even longer trip or looking for a suitcase with a unique RIMOWA shape? Then the Trunk or Trunk Plus is the way to go.
