Accessorise your RIMOWA with stickers, luggage tags and more.
When we travel, we access our introspective marrow. We are curious, receptive, released of our habits, and willing to be stirred. It is with these revelations in mind that RIMOWA and Australian luxury skincare brand Aesop joined forces to create an eminently portable travel kit for the discerning traveller.
Named for RIMOWA’s origin city of Cologne, the Köln Travel Kit is a curated selection of Aesop skin, hair, body and oral care formulations housed in a signature RIMOWA grooved aluminium case. The limited-edition case was inspired by the impeccably crafted RIMOWA Travel Humidor known for its luxurious wooden inlay. Aesop’s formulations are secured in a custom-built wooden inlay presented in the elegant RIMOWA case of durable aluminium, which can be reused over and over after its original contents have been enjoyed.
“The Köln Travel Kit is a perfect example of functional luxury; a tool for purposeful travellers that encapsulates the thoughtfulness and consideration that both our brands apply to the creative process,” explains Hector Muelas, RIMOWA Chief Brand Officer.
The kit comprises Classic Shampoo and Conditioner for soft, thoroughly cleansed hair; refreshing Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser and Body Balm, and distinctively flavoured Mouthwash and Toothpaste; complemented by a trio of Parsley Seed Skin Care staples. Suitable for use on most skin types, and ideal for those in urban environments, the Parsley Seed range delivers potent doses of anti-oxidants to fortify the skin and leave it feeling clarified, balanced and supple.
“RIMOWA and Aesop share a meticulous approach to craftsmanship and an abiding interest in pared-back utilitarian design,” said Dr Kate Forbes, Aesop GM, Product and R&D. “Our shared pursuit of quality design led us to collaborate on creating a timeless, portable travel kit with coveted Aesop product for people venturing both near and far from home.”
