To ensure your aluminium product remains in excellent condition, please note the following recommendations:

• To remove dust or dirt, use a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge with clean water.

It is highly recommended not to use the following, as they can damage your product: scouring detergents, abrasive cloths or sponges, window cleaning agents, vinegar-based cleaners and disinfectants, solvents, dilutions, aggressive alcohols, petroleum distillates, or nail polish remover.

We like to consider any deep dents or scratches as the unique patina of your case, as these cannot be removed. Embrace them – this is what makes your RIMOWA unique.

It is highly recommended not to use the following, as they can damage your product: scouring detergents, abrasive cloths or sponges, window cleaning agents, vinegar-based cleaners and disinfectants, solvents, dilutions, aggressive alcohols, petroleum distillates, or nail polish remover.

• Avoid prolonged contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments onto the leather.
• Store it in a protective bag in well-ventilated areas, keeping it away from humidity and protecting it from direct sources of heat and sunlight.
• If the leather or webbing gets dirty with superficial stains, wipe it with a soft, light-coloured cloth.
• For surface stains, we recommend using a soft, damp cloth with water. The use of commercial cleaners or solvents is not recommended.
• Home remedies to darken the leather (such as mink oil, leather lotion, saddle soap) should not be used.

• Do not wash, dry clean, iron, bleach, or tumble dry.
• Avoid contact with water, oils, perfume, or cosmetics.
• If your item gets wet, remove any excess moisture without rubbing; instead, dab with a soft cloth and let it dry at room temperature.
• To remove dust or dirt, use a soft brush or non-abrasive sponge dampened with clean water.
• Please keep in mind that in some humid and hot environments, there may be slight colour transfer through friction, especially when wearing light colours.

• Clean using a damp cloth and a normal neutral detergent and dry with a soft clean cloth.
• Avoid the use of solvents such as alcohol and acetone or harsh chemical detergents that may damage the eyewear.
• When not in use, sunglasses should be kept in their case and stored at a temperature between -10°C and +35°C.
• Avoid exposure to sunlight in closed non-airconditioned environments (e.g. on a car dashboard) as the temperatures reached in these conditions may damage the eyewear and adversely affect its functionality.
• If the sun lenses suffer any wear and tear, becoming scratched or opaque, for example, we recommend replacing them with original spare parts."
