Exchanges & Returns

Can I return an online order to a RIMOWA store?

Currently, it is not possible to return merchandise purchased online at one of our RIMOWA stores. To initiate a return, please package the product in its original box and use the prepaid UPS label, which can be generated in your account.

Can I ask for an exchange?

If you wish to exchange your product for the same product in a different colour, please contact our customer service within 30 days. Products must be returned unused, undamaged, and packaged in their original boxes.

If you would like to exchange your product for a different size or collection, you will need to initiate a return and order a new one.

Harness: On which suitcase model(s) does it fit?

This luggage harness is meant to fit the RIMOWA Original, Classic, Essential, Essential Lite and Hybrid suitcases in the following sizes only: Cabin U, Cabin S, Cabin and Cabin Plus. This harness will not fit other RIMOWA suitcase sizes and we can not guarantee that the harness will suit any cabin suitcases from other brands.

Online Purchase

Can I modify or cancel my order?

You have the option to modify or cancel your order before it has been shipped by contacting our Client Service. Your item can only be changed for a new item at the same or lower price than the original item.

Please note that once your order has been shipped, it is no longer possible to modify or to cancel it. However, you may process a return and place a new order.

Guarantee

How do I claim a RIMOWA guarantee?

To claim our guarantee, we invite you to immediately inform RIMOWA of any defect within the guarantee period.

Please contact our Client Care Service, or you can also visit the nearest store to hand over or send the product. The completed certificate of guarantee or original proof of purchase will be requested.

RIMOWA will determine whether the defect is covered by the guarantee. If this is the case, RIMOWA will repair or replace the product and RIMOWA will also cover the costs incurred, including the return shipment.

The sending costs are borne by the purchaser.

Care

How should I care for my glasses ?

Clean using a damp cloth and a normal neutral detergent and dry with a soft clean cloth.
Avoid the use of solvents such as alcohol and acetone or harsh chemical detergents that may damage the eyewear.
When not in use, sunglasses should be kept in their case and stored at a temperature between -10°C and +35°C.
Avoid exposure to sunlight in closed non-airconditioned environments (e.g. on a car dashboard) as the temperatures reached in these conditions may damage the eyewear and adversely affect its functionality.
If the sun lenses suffer any wear and tear, becoming scratched or opaque, for example, we recommend replacing them with original spare parts."
